Laser treatments are therapies that use focused light. Unlike most light sources, light from a laser (which stands - for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation) is tuned to specific wavelengths.
This allows it to be focused into powerful beams. These beams can be used to treat skin conditions, and even perform surgeries (no intended use for surgeries at this clinic).

Laser skin rejuvenation involves brief, high-energy laser pulses applied to the skin. The intense energy causes a photoacoustic effect in the skin, stimulating cells to produce more collagen. Vascular Lesions
Vascular lesions are blood vessels that are visible through the skin. The harmless lesions look blood-colored, with either a red or purplish hue. Standard types of vascular lesions include: spider veins, telangiectasia, port wine stains, and hemangioma. They can occur on almost any part of the body, but are especially common on the face or legs.
Small vascular lesions can often be removed in a single treatment, while other lesions may take a few treatments to become less visible. Regardless, most patients see significant improvement in appearance after a single laser session with the Astanza Q-switched laser.
Pigmented Lesions (Spots)
Pigmented lesions are dark areas of the skin caused by excess melanin in skin cells. Some pigmented lesions are present at birth, such as birthmarks, and some are acquired over time with age, or as sunspots on sun-exposed areas.
Some key examples of pigmented lesions include: freckles, moles, age spots, cafe-au-lait spots, sunspots, Nevus of Ota, Nevus of Ito, Mongolian spots, etc.
Acne Treatment

The use of intense pulsed light therapy has proven to be very effective for treating acne vulgaris and slowing the production of excessive oils. The light energy is directed at the affected pores, triggering a photo electrochemical process that kills bacteria and reduces acne severity in the skin.
